Course Description
Discover new depth of western fabricated jewelry with Jeremiah Watt. This class will challenge students at every step with design, silversmithing, and engraving. The week will be spent working on a wide-body bracelet that will be totally filigreed. Each student will use their personal design, balancing aesthetics and physical integrity of the piece. Each bracelet will be allotted room for a single letter initial or brand. Proper piercing, shaping, and patina techniques will be covered. The student will have their choice of single point or western engraving to further embellish their bracelet.

Prerequisites
Completion of a GRS Basic Western Engraving course or instructor approval is required, as well as an understanding of proper Western bright cut tool sharpening, use of pneumatic engraving equipment, and design principles.
